For those that know me, Brian Johnson is MY FAVORITE philosopher EVER! My wife tells me that I have a man crush on him; others have called him my brother from a different mother. He has inspired me and my work in Life Design in so, so many different ways!
One of the things that he does extraordinarily well is share 10-15 minute videos (called PNTV) about books he’s read, providing his top five points the author shares in his or her book. He’s done close to 500 PNTV’s, all for free. AMAZING! As a member (I’m a lifetime member), you can also get access to the mp3 and pdf notes for each book as well. One of my “projects” for the rest of this year is to watch EVERY ONE of his PNTV’s, so I can glean even more wisdom in less time.
Today, I’m going to share my favorite PNTV episode – the one that I’ve been able to incorporate in my life the most. It is his review of Idan Ravin’s “The Hoops Whisperer”; you can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Yoeo38B1uM
My favorite part? The +1 and -1, which is the ONE that I’ve incorporated into my life on a daily basis. I ALWAYS ask myself – “Is this thing I’m about to do is moving me forward into growth (+1) or backward into safety (-1)? Makes every decision that much easier. Try it yourself and see how it could change your life!
