the year of you, day 171

NEW Relaxing Music for the week: Reflection: Liquid Mind (8:19) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TWMY8fT908

Question: What, for you, is the difference between “like” and “love?”

Answer: When I think about “liking” someone, the first word that comes into my head is fondness. It’s an individual that I believe we could have a mutual benefit in a relationship, meaning that can both offer something good to make each other’s lives better. Doesn’t have to be something substantial; it could as simple as taking the time out of their day to provide something of value – and that you do the same. Love, on the other hand, is at a much deeper level. Love for me is a deeper investment in the relationship, where you’re taking “like” to a deeper level. Love feels like a much deeper commitment to a relationship than like. For example, there are quite a few people that I like in the Life Design Catalyst Tribe, but there are only a small few that I truly love, people who inspire me to keep reading, support me to keep creating and sharing, call me out when I’m being a dick, and just love me for who I am. I’m luck to have such great people in my life.

Other Stuff

This is going to be more of a question than a resource.

I’m curious…for those that read these posts, do you find the attached articles and/or videos useful? If so, then I’ll continue to post these resources; if not, then I won’t spend my time trying to find additional things to post. If you could let me know by posting a “yes” for “no” in the comments section, that would be greatly appreciated. Or just send me an email with a “yes” or “no” to my work address – whjohnso@uncg.edu. I have many to share, but will only share on this post if viewers are interested; otherwise, I’ll just post them on the Dream Dean Resource Page. Thanks a million in advance for your thoughts; it’s greatly appreciated!
