Question: Do you believe you are lucky or unlucky in love? What informs that belief?
Answer: Since I’m a firm believer that you create your own luck, I would say that I believe to be lucky in love. I’ve been fortunate to be with some really great partners over the years; I also believe that each of those relationships were vital in me becoming who I am today. And even though Rebecca and I are sorting through our relationship right now, I feel that she has provided some great insight into how we are as individuals and how we’ve developed (and may continue to develop) over time. Relationships are just another piece of the journey, so you learn from both the good and bad experiences. I also believe that if you don’t put yourself out there and try, there is no love in the first place. There has to be some “action” part in order for luck to happen – no action, no love.
