Meet Your Facilitator: Bill Johnson — “The Dream Dean”
Bill Johnson doesn’t just teach life design. He lives it.
After a remarkable 34-year career in higher education — most recently as Coordinator of the Legacy Men of Color Program at Davidson-Davie Community College and Coordinator of Student Success in the School of Health and Human Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) — Bill made a bold, intentional choice: to step fully into his calling.
In July 2023, he retired from higher education to pursue Life Design Catalyst work full time. Not because he had to. Because he knew it was time to give his growth away at the highest level.
Bill is the visionary behind the award-winning, nationally recognized Life Design Catalyst Program — a movement that has empowered thousands of students, faculty, staff, and community members to stop drifting and start designing lives of genuine purpose and meaning.
He’s not just a facilitator. He’s a living example of what it looks like to answer the questions at the heart of this training — who am I here to be, what am I here to do, and who am I here to lift?
