the year of you, day 284

Relaxing Music for the week: Dream Ten: Liquid Mind (10:04) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poTMyYQq8rg

Question: When do you feel most drained?

Answer: Sometimes, I get into these really bad spells (now, lasting just a day) when I try to do too much, like do an hour plus workout in the morning, work all day, then try to do some type of activity in the evening. These are the kind of days where I get upwards of 27,000 to 30,000 steps a day and I wonder, “What the hell was I thinking?” But then, instead of taking a break and sleeping in, I get up the next morning and do another workout the following morning. And then I’m REALLY exhausted! It doesn’t happen very often any more, maybe once a month. Better than once a week, right?

I know that negative, complaining people people also drain my energy. I call them :energy vampires,” people who just SUCK the life out of you! Know anyone life that? Fun to be around, right? Well, I use to have people like that in my life, but not now. I’m trying to think if there’s anyone in my life like that right now…and I can’t. Yeah!

As a side note, I now have a car, so I can get back to living a somewhat more normal life. It has definitely been a trying 4 weeks since the accident, one that I hope no one has to go through. To make matters worse, our insurance company (Met Life) is either merging or being bought out by Farmers Insurance, so that made things even more complicated, since I had to start my claim with Met Life and end with Farmers. Needless to say, it wasn’t the smoothest process, but I’m glad it’s done. Now, onward and upward.
