Relaxing Music for the month: Healing Hands: Liquid Mind (12:01) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hdwGhA4l50
Are you really living your best life? What does that even mean?
Here’s my simple formula:
- Your Best Life = Becoming the Best Version of Yourself + Serving Something Bigger Than Yourself + Consistent and Intentional Action
That’s it. In every moment of every day, you get to ask yourself, “Is what I’m about to do moving me towards the best version of myself and/or serving something bigger than myself? If yes, you do it; if no, then don’t. It’s that simple. Then, make sure you’re doing at least ONE THING every day that’s making you better every day and/or profoundly serving others. I laugh because there’s a lot of people making this more complicated than it has to be…let’s start with simple.
Of course, the hard part is understanding what the best version of yourself looks like and how you can serve something bigger than yourself. Here’s something: Check out this video by Tony Robbins that might provide you a few simple tips – or maybe start with just one tip – you could implement to move forward in your life. Check it out here:
- 5 Keys to Living Your Best Post-Pandemic Life (Tony Robbins) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aupn1QUSxdw
For your cheat sheet, here are the five tips:
#1: Every day, feed and strengthen your mind.
#2: Every day, feed and strengthen your body.
#3: Get a role model.
#4: Create a plan and take massive action.
#5: Give more than you expect to receive.
Now, instead of trying to do something big, start with something small. Is there something you can do to improve by 1%? By the way. 1% better is equal to 14 minutes and 24 seconds. So my questions to you would be: Could you do something to feed and strengthen your mind for 14 minutes and 24 seconds? Could you do something to feed and strengthen your body for 14 minutes and 24 seconds? Start there. The last three, there’s no instruction manual – just do it! Find a role model, create a plan then act on it, then give more than you receive at least once per day. Sounds like a great life to me! What do you think? Is it time for you to start living your best life? YES!!!
