So, it’s been about 7 months since I last posted, after my first month into retirement. Let’s just say that it’s been an “adventure” since that last post, which I will document on this blog. Why did I decide to start posting again? This past December at the Life Design Catalyst Bootcamp/Deep Dive, I shared this video with the participants about sharing your story:

And I’ve watched this video a few times over the past few months. About two weeks ago, I watched it again – and there was a segment in the video that REALLY resonated with my soul. The main premise of his talk is this – YOUR STORY MATTERS – and you need to be the one to tell it! The words below start at 7:52 in the video:
“No one deserves to be forgotten.
No one deserves to fade away.
No one should come and go
And have no one know he was ever even here.
No one deserves to disappear.
If you don’t tell your story,
You don’t exist.
It doesn’t matter where you are from,
How much money you have,
Or where you went to school.
We all need to be heard.”
Tell your story.
So, I will share my story with the world, with no expectations. If my story can help someone on their life’s journey, then that’s a bonus.
