February 2025 reflection

Now that we are two months into 2025, here are February’s “End-of-the-Month” Reflection Questions:

  1. What has been the biggest change(s) in your life so far in 2025? or What’s different about you since the start of 2025?
  2. What was your greatest achievement and/or most profound progress made in February 2025?
  3. If you were being bold and focused, what action could you take in March 2025 that could profoundly impact your life?

Here are my answers to the three reflection questions:

  1. What has been the biggest change in your life so far in 2025? or What’s different about you since the start of 2025? (1) I finally have clarity in what I want to accomplish with my life, both personally and professionally. (2) I’ve been more intentional about helping people, specifically the Life Design Catalyst Tribe members. I set several Energizing Goals for 2025. (3) I’m not going to let the drugs that I’m taking be excuses for not accomplishing my health and fitness goals.
  2. What was your greatest achievement and/or most profound progress made in February 2025? Personally, I’ve definitely more active than I was at the end of 2024. I’ve started doing two workouts a day at least four days a week, getting my body ready for tennis season. I’ve also been very consistent in getting at least 100,000 steps each week since the start of the year. I’ve lost two pounds in February – not as much as I wanted, but at least I’m going down, and not up. Professionally, I’ve started to make updates to the Catalyst Resources page, where I have know created the Catalyst Growth Resources and the Catalyst Business Resources pages. I also started making videos for “The Catalyst Way” and “The Dream Dean” YouTube channels. And I finished four books this month:
    • “Build the Life You Want: The Art and Science of Getting Happier” by Arthur Brooks and Orpah Winfrey
    • “Give to Grow: Invest in Relationships to Build Your Business and Your Career” by Mo Brunell
    • “Keep Going: 10 Ways to Stay Creative in Good Times and Bad” by  Austin Kleon
    • “Good Work: Reclaiming Your Inner Ambition” by Paul Millerd
  3. If you were being bold and focused, what action could you take in March 2025 that could profoundly impact your life? To get the word about about “The Catalyst Way.” It’s feels like understanding purpose and meaning is even more important now than ever before. One of the Energizing Goals I set for 2025 is to contact at least two schools/institutions/professional organizations per month to share “The Catalyst Way” Manifesto. I set another goal to get at least 50 new Catalyst Champions in 2025 – one per week. So, to get a new Catalyst Champion a week, I need to make at least two contacts a week, not a month.

There you have it – my review of February 2025. What about you? How are the first two months of 2025 going for you? Are you making progress towards your goals – or at least doing something that’s moving you in a positive direction? If so, keep up the great work. If not, stop farting around and get your butt in gear!
