It was a fun and intriguing read for me because I had a chance to reflect on my own mental strength. Like most, good in some areas, needs work in others.
Here are a few of the areas I feel mentally strongest:
- Practicing gratitude.
- Delaying gratification.
- Acknowledging my limitations (which for me translates to showing vulnerability).
Here are the areas that needs work:
- Overcoming my inner critic.
- Lacking my own definition of success.
- Saying no (except to my wife – not good).
Doing okay in the other areas, but could improve.
