Question: What scares you?
Answer: Being alone for the rest of my life. Although I am introverted, my introversion is more about how I operate internally vs. how I am around people. If it’s people I don’t know, I’m very introverted; if I’m around my tribe – for instance, at one of our Life Design Catalyst Facilitator Trainings, I’m like a kid in a candy store! I would rather have a small group of close 5-10 friends than 1,000,000 followers of my blog, as long as I had the opportunity to connect with this small, intimate group on a regular basis.
In the past, I was scared of being successful, but I always attached success to having prestige, money, and a host of other external factors. Although I had always shared to others that I wanted to be a guest on Oprah, I was terrified to actually be called because that would mean that I was successful and that I expectations for more and better success would be higher. Much better prepared for that now that I was in the past, although I would LOVE to be asked to be interviewed by her, maybe for Super Soul Sunday or something.
Other Stuff
I was reading the book, “The Book of Coaching: For Extraordinary Coaches” by Ajit Nawalkha and Neeta Bhushan and came across an interesting video they shared in the book. They were talking about the stuff that tends to hold us back from accomplishing more in life – and it’s typically fear. What’s underlying that fear? The feeling that we aren’t enough – I’m not __________ enough. So, I decided to check out the video and thought it was VERY interesting! If you have about 45 minutes, I would love for you to check it out and share your thoughts. Here’s the link:

I am enough…how about you?
Bill –
I’m sorting back through some of these posts. Do you recommend this book for beginner coaching-folks? Or which would you recommend? I know you have a library!
