Question: What do you love to do so much you would pay (or do pay) to do it?
Answer: Getting the opportunity to share Life Design Catalyst work with others. And actually, I do pay (on occasion) to do this work; I pay to present this work at various conferences each year. One of my favorite conferences is the NACADA National Conference, which is help in different cities each year. In 2019, I had the opportunity to present two sessions at the National Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. I had a great time and got to meet a lot of people interesting in doing LDC work – or sharing how they’ve incorporated something I’ve done into their program. That’s so enriching for me, to know that I touched lives in that way. And I want to do more and more of it! This year, I plan to present at the 2021 NACADA National in Cincinnati, Ohio in October. I plan to be there, with the hopes of it being in person so I can get energized by like-minded souls again. I’ve also paid registration and travel fees to present Life Design Catalyst work at other conferences as well, such as On Course, First-Year Experience and Students in Transition, and Golden Key International Honor Society. In case you didn’t notice, I love to present sessions! I just hope I get to do more presentations as I transition into the next chapter of my life – whatever that may be.
Other Stuff
Have you ever read an article and it makes you think so deep that you go “Ummmmmm.” I just read one of those articles yesterday morning, one that really touched my soul. If you read these blog posts and like most of what I’ve posted, then I’m sure you’ll read this one and have the same response. And it’s especially pertinent as I go through this transformation in my life. Check it out:

I have decided to dedicate myself to re-inventing my life and start writing my next chapter, one that I get to define, not one that’s defined for me. I’m ready to roll!
