the year of you, day 191

Saturday, July 10, 2021 (Day 191)

Relaxing Music for the week: East of Full Moon: Deuter (8:33) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBdkb0suFFI

Question: Do you typically run late, early, or on time, and what do you think this reflects about you?

Answer: In the past, I used to run late for EVERYTHING – and I don’t think it showed me in a great light. Most of the time, I didn’t even care. However, looking back, I believe it gave the impression that I was more important than the meeting, regardless of the meeting. Now, I would say that I’m more likely to be early or on time, which means that I’m committed to the meeting, as well as to make sure that the people feel that their time is valued. This is one of those things that you learn over time; when you’re young, the world centers around you. As you get older, you realize that the most important thing are the things bigger than you, such as your family, your friends, the work you do, etc. Better late than never right?

Other Stuff

This morning, I woke up with this thought in my mind that I couldn’t let go. Earlier last week, I read an article, The One Thing Men Want More Than Sex; here’s the link:

Just so you know, the author describes the one thing as a “safe harbor.” To understand what he means by this, read the article. I think it’s true for me…as I’ve gotten older, I know that a “safe harbor” is what I’m looking for in a relationship. I know everybody is different, but this article resonated with me more than others.

  1. Can’t imagine you running late for anything. You were always timely growing up. I appreciate the insight as to how you are and who you are.
