Question: Imagine you inherited $5,000 from a distant relative with the condition you had to spend it on something other than yourself. What would you do with the money?
Answer: This is an easy question to answer. Because I know that I would buy something for Rebecca, Amanda, and Bethany, then give the rest away to my three favorite charities: St Jude’s Children Hospital, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and MS Society. I think the money questions have been pretty easy for me to answer because, although it’s not something that drives my actions and decisions, it does play a part in how I live my life. When I reviewed today’s questions, it made me smile because it’s really something I think about a lot. I remember a couple of days ago a question about finding money, or maybe it was what I would do with $500 dollars. Again, I most likely wouldn’t spend it myself, but either put it away or go out to a nice dinner with Rebecca. If I were to purchase one thing right now, it might be the new Ping G425 Max Driver, since I think the thing that might get me to break 80 would be to keep my drives on the fairway. The last time I played a full round of golf I shot 80 – and I think I only hit 5 or 14 fairways. Many that I missed were on the edge of the fairway in the rough, so they weren’t way off. I also know that my wedge game wasn’t where it needed to be as well, but I think I have all of the wedges that I want. Anyway, it would be really easy yo spend money/donate money to others.
