Question: What is one thing you could start doing today to improve your physical health?
Answer: Well, I definitely don’t need to add more fitness/exercise, that’s for sure. I know that my diet could be better, where I could add more “color” to my diet through fruits and vegetables. I also know that I could improve my meditation practice; although I’m doing about 10 minutes 4-5 days a week, I know I could do every day. It’s funny, one of my presentations later this week will have participants identify what their “best selves” would look like 5-10 years down the road, then come up with ONE SMALL THING they could do to move them towards their best selves. It will be interesting to see what they come up with; I had my students do this same activity last week and collected all of their answers. I can’t wait to see what adults working in the field would come up with. So my one thing will be to do at least 5 minutes of meditation every day this week. Let’s see where that takes me.

I love it because I’ve been making it a habit to read at least one thing that makes me think every day, like his article. Sparked my brain to read a couple of other articles as well. He always fascinates me!
