Relaxing Music for the week: Meditation: Liquid Mind (10:05) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9s9VnIeB9oE
Question: What would your ideal “mental health day” look like?
Answer: I don’t know if it would look much different than what I’m already doing, since I engage in a lot of the practices that increases the positive benefits of mental health. Exercise, meditation, slow breathing, purposeful work, close relationships with family and friends, and nature walks – I’ve been very adamant about incorporating all of these self-care practices in my day. (As a side note, I think it’s ironic that our School of Health and Human Sciences IS NOT advocating to incorporate self-care practices within and outside the classroom to address mental health issues – shame on them.)
Other Stuff
On the more fun side of health, here’s an interesting article you might want to check out if you’re interested in living to 100 years old! I read it earlier this morning to see how many I’ve been able to incorporate into my life…and felt happy that many of the 100 I’ve done and/or currently do. Here’s the article:

So, how many have you included in your life? If none or very few, maybe it’s time to try a few new things now so that they become new, ingrained habits in 2022!
