Do you have answers to these questions?
- Who am I?
- What matters most to me?
- What can I offer the world?
If you can’t answer all three questions, then you’ll need to take on the Character Resume Challenge! It’s an opportunity for you to get to know yourself better, using multiple self-reflective assessments over six weeks to get a clear understanding of who you are and who you want to be.

I completed my first Character Resume in December for a job application on a whim; needless to say, I got the job. But more importantly, it gave me a great tool to help me define what makes me me. I can tell you that if I ever get the question, “Tell me about yourself…,” I will have NO PROBLEM answering the question. Of course, there is one caveat to all of this work – you really have to be brutally honest with yourself. And you have to be okay with that.
And here’s the link to Week 1’s Challenge:
Want to learn more about me? Check out my two character resumes: (1) a one-page front and back document that has my results from all of the assessments, and (2) a one-page, one-sided document that sums up the two-pager with my most “endearing” qualities. Besides, it looks nicer because it has color. Check them out here:

- One-Page One-Side (summary) – character resume (1 page)-bill johnson example, 6-18-22
Now, it’s your turn. Why not create your own Character Resume, especially if you’re thinking about pursuing other opportunities; it could help you A LOT!
