It’s hard to imagine that today is August 1st – and that we’re only 5 months away from 2026. Where has the time gone?
So, it’s time for another monthly reflection…
Reflection Questions…
- What has been most consistent for you since the start of 2025? OR What is different about you since the start of 2025?
-
What was the biggest change, your greatest achievement, and/or your most profound progress made in July 2025?
- What was a challenge/adversity you had to face, an obstacle you had to overcome, or problem/issue you had to deal in July 2025? What did you learn from the experience?
-
If you were being bold and focused, what action could you take in July 2025 that could profoundly impact your life (in a positive way)?
Answers…
- What has been most consistent for you since the start of 2025? OR What is different about you since the start of 2025?
- I’ve continued to move forward towards my yearly workout goal. In fact, I decided to increase my cycling goal from 750 miles to 1,000 miles. I thought it would be good to see if I could get to the numbers I achieved last year.
- I have a generally positive outlook on life, despite the health challenges I face.
- What was the biggest change, your greatest achievement, and/or your most profound progress made in July 2025?
- My good friend Ivor Buffong and I co-wrote a book, “The Catalyst Way: A Guide to Unlocking Your Divine Potential.”
- I created a couple of new activities, “Personal/Aspirational Identity” and “Unique Impact Blueprint” that I’m using to craft my Professional Destiny and implement strategies for my Emerging Self Best Life.
- Ivor and I have now produced 8 “The Catalyst Way” videos, one-third of the way to our goal of 25 videos in 2025.
- I started doing AARP’s “#1 Exercise for Belly Fat.” Actually, it’s a way to make your core stronger, not to reduce belly fat.
- What was a challenge/adversity you had to face, an obstacle you had to overcome, or problem/issue you had to deal in July 2025? What did you learn from the experience?
- Both my shoulders now have partial rotator cuff tears, so I can barely lift both my arms halfway up now. I’m going to have to seriously consider whether to get surgery or not. I’ve been able to get by, but at some point I’m going to have to make a decision.
- If you were being bold and focused, what action could you take in August 2025 that could profoundly impact your life (in a positive way)?
- I just finished an essay/article on how creating an aspirational identity should be done before starting a undergraduate or graduate degree. I need to get the article out into the world.
- Start an consistent exercise routine to get my arms and legs stronger. I just purchased resistance bands, so I plan to use them at least 4 days a week for my arms.
Here’s to a great August!
