Well, the portable dry erase board didn’t last very long! Went to visit my friend Pat Combs at UNCG; I had a hunch that she would have something to trade because she’s a lot like me – lots of odds and ends (like toys and trinkets) in her office! Sure enough, she had a bottle of wine with my name on it!
So, I ended Day 3 of the binder clip challenge with a bottle of wine! It’s the weekend now, so I’ll have to see what I can get from my connections at home, starting with my wife Rebecca. Since she likes white wine, I’m sure she’ll come up with something pretty cool to trade!
The student I mentioned in a previous post with 11 trades the first day is now up to 52 trades – and right now, she has a cell phone! It must have been a REALLY old phone, that’s for sure! Didn’t ask her what she gave up for the phone… Seems like the few students that have responded have really enjoyed the exercise; I must admit, it’s been a lot of fun for me as well!
