coronavirus and mental health

This will most likely be one of the few blog posts I share regarding the coronavirus.  Reality is that we all have to deal with it in some capacity.  It sucks, but it’s life right now.

My favorite author, Mark Manson, wrote a wonderful article on the reality of dealing with the coronavirus – and how to deal with it.  My wife, who is a therapist, read the article and loved it!  So, that was good enough for me!  Here’s the link:

I’ve read it three times, to make sure I digest it fully and think hard about how to make the best of a bad situation.

One thing that hasn’t changed for me – my early morning workout.  I still start my workouts on most days between 5am and 5:30am on weekdays, and between 6:30am and 7am on weekends.  Talk about social distancing – I’m lucky to see one or two people out THAT early in the morning!  I’ve also dedicated time to reading again; read three books last week and plan to start another book today.  If you want a few cheap/free Kindle books, check out my blog post “do you like to read?” for some suggestions.

Last thoughts: What happens if this lasts for another 3 to 6 months?  How will it change your life?  What becomes the new “normal?”  Read the article if you don’t have answers to these questions.

Hang in there, friends!
