Question: What is more important to you: style or comfort? Why?
Answer: Anyone who knows me well know that I’m much more about comfort than style. If you think about the clothes I wear, it’s mostly either jeans or sweats, t-shirts, and hoodies. No style in any of that – definitely comfort. Simple man with simple tastes, that’s how I like to describe myself. The finer things in life? Why pay all that money? I buy used golf equipment, I buy tennis rackets that are the best models – 5 years ago. My car is a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe. The only thing I really “splurged” on was an elliptical machine, because I’ve broken at least 5 in-home model that were supposedly great machines. The only thing that works for me is commercial grade equipment…thought I did that wit my Schwinn Air Dyne, but that’s been nothing but a nightmare for me. I’ve had this “top of the line” piece of equipment – and after two years, the crank started to wear down. After TWO YEARS! I had the old chain-driven Air Dynes – had two, last about 30 years. Got the new one – have had for 4 years, and has only worked for 2 years. Where are the days when equipment was made WELL? It’s so disappointing. Going back to the question…comfort over style ANY DAY!
Other Stuff
Here are a couple of resources you might want to take a look at, especially if you’re into fixed vs growth mindset. Today’s topic is “being good vs getting better” mindset/goals. When you think about the things you want to achieve in life, are your goals focused on your being good or getting better. To learn more, check out the article and the video:

Next time you think about setting goals, are they “being good” or “getting better” goals? How’s that for an interesting way to look at goals?
