Question: What is the largest sum of money you’ve every received?
Answer: Although I did receive some money when my parents passed away, I will not include that on my list. I’ll focus on opportunities that I had some control over. About 4 or 5 years ago I was given a check for $10,000 to facilitate a 3-day, Life Design Catalyst Training at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, Wisconsin. This opportunity came from a pro-conference workshop at an On Course National Conference on life design, where we talked about goals and dreams; I shared in the presentation that one of the things on my bucket list was to get paid $10,000 to facilitate a Life Design Catalyst Workshop. A kind soul from Appleton saw that on my list and decided to have to me come to her campus and do a workshop for $10,000! How about that for a treat?
I’m a BIG believer that we should share our list of goals and dreams with others because the universe has this really weird way of helping you accomplishing many of them, that is, if you actually take steps towards them. For example, in order for me to get paid $10,000 to do a Training, I had to have enough quality content to warrant a 3-day workshop for that kind of money. Luckily, I have more than enough material to not only warrant a 3-day Training, but I can even do four- and five-day Trainings as well. And I’ve been doing all sorts of modifications to a number of LDC activities that I’m sure there’s a few that can connect with the soul of people. Sharing the tools provides even more opportunities for me to get offers to present at various campuses across the country. I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE doing Life Design Catalyst work; it’s the work that truly feeds my soul!
So, identify the thing (or things) that feed your soul and go do that!
