I read this article yesterday (among the 11 that I read that morning) and found this gem:
- Steve Jobs Said Your Overall Happiness in Life Really Comes Down to Asking 4 Simple Questions – https://www.inc.com/marcel-schwantes/steve-jobs-said-your-overall-happiness-in-life-really-comes-down-to-asking-4-simple-questions.html
I can’t say that I really was moved by the article, but there was one question that I couldn’t stop thinking about – and I’m going to ask you to think about it as well:
- Am I living the life that I want and doing the work that I want to do?
Simple question, isn’t it? I said “yes” to the first part of the question (yes, I am living the life I want to life) and “almost” to the second part of the question (almost doing the work that I want to do). What about you….how would YOU answer the question?
If your answer is “yes” to both, you’re definitely someone I admire. I don’t know many people who can HONESTLY answer “yes” to both. If your answer is “no” to either or both, then I would challenge you to define what you need to do in order to live the life you really want live AND to do work you really want to do. Great question as a “thought” for the day!
