my purpose

As I prepare for my next Life Design Catalyst Bootcamp/Deep Dive (https://thedreamdean.com/ldctraining/) in three weeks, I think back to a conversation I had with a group of pickleball people. When we were leaving, one of the group members asked me what I do. I shared that I retired on June 30, 2023 so that I could do my “work” on a full-time basis. When she asked me what my “work” was, this is what I shared:

“I help people find purpose and meaning in their lives, so that they can help others do the same.”

She asked for my contact information…

Enough said.

  1. I don’t know if this comment posted to your blog because it kept giving me login issues, but….

I love that you posted this as it is so timely and relevant to me. So many years ago, we had great conversations about finding purpose, and merging that with our talents and work. Today, I just successfully defended my dissertation, and on that journey, I finally solidified my purpose of helping others through creating and improving learning experiences by leveraging technology, and I feel like all of the groundwork was laid years ago during our conversations.

I hope you get/stay well for years to come and continue your amazing impact on the world.
