Question: What are some of the most common excuses or reasons you give about why you can’t do the things you want to do?
Answer: Great question! The most common excuse or reason I give about why I can’t do the things I want to do is – I am being pulled in too many different directions. I have a lot of “projects” that I’m working on all at one time – so instead of just taking time to work on each one a little bit at a time, I get stuck/frozen and don’t work on anything. I think this has happened more since COVID, where I’m sit at my computer all day and read articles, read and answer emails, watch videos, do this journal, etc. Sometimes, after being on it for so many hours in a day AT HOME, I just don’t want to do anything. I need to get back into a routine where I step away for a few minutes each hour to just take a nature walk or get aware from the screen. There’s always so much more to do when my brain is constantly going, but there also has to come a time where I just need to take some time to relax and take a break from everything. But despite this, I still get a lot of stuff done, I just think I can be more efficient with my time.
