the year of you, day 116

Meditation Music for the week: Velvet Morning: Liquid Mind (7:41) –

Question: What is your favorite kind of music and why?

Answer: Most recently (like the past 10-12 years), I’ve been listening to mostly two types of music – Contemporary Christian and Jazz. I have a playlist of Christian music that I listen to on YouTube for my morning workouts, whether it’s elliptical or walking/running. I listening to jazz/new age when I’m riding my indoor bike (while reading) and during the day at work. I’ve shared a few of the Christian songs that I REALLY like on this blog (also on the resource page). The meditation music that I list is mostly new age music, also listed on the Resource Page. Although my workout playlist is long (over 200 songs), there are probably 20-25 that really inspire me to push even harder or I find extremely motivating. It’s not necessarily the beat that matters, but the environment and the words that inspire me.

Other Stuff

Piggy-backing on what I shared yesterday, here’s another version listing the ways you can improve your life.

What are you doing to be 1% better today?

More Good Stuff

I just read another interesting article this morning, this one about relationships. It’s definitely one of those articles that make you go “Ummmmmm.” If you’re in a relationship or looking to start one, it’s definitely one to consider. In fact, as I think about the things that I hope we can address in our Life Design Catalyst Program in some capacity are: (1) Financial Literacy, and (2) Relationships. Check out this interesting article about relationships here:

Check out the questions. How did you do? Yeah, I know – another ass-kicker! Would you expect anything else from me?
